The Tea Party and the Circus

Today in class, while journalism and cinema verte were hot topics, I couldn't stop thinking about a young filmmaker I have been following. Chase Whiteside is a film major at Wright State as well as a devoted democrat. Most of his films (at least the ones I've seen) are political commentaries. He never says they aren't subjective, he never says these aren't his opinions, but it wasnt until our reading this week and the conversation in class today that I started thinking about not just what he puts in his films, but more importantly what he leaves out.

His latest film "The Tea Party and the Circus": is it journalism? Is it Cinema Verte? Is it both?
